Looking for creative Perth activities? Join Hannah from Moody Rabbit for an ornamental flower ceramic workshop at the lovely grounds of Samson House in Fremantle. As part of the Heritage Festival in WA, spend some time unplugged from technology making new memories.

In this beginner's workshop, you will be guided through the basic process of making your own clay ornamental flowers from scratch by expert ceramicist Hannah. You will learn about the slab building method and get hands-on in making six ceramic ornamental flowers.

Inspiration for these flowers is from the gorgeous gardens at Samson House and you will be told about some history regarding the flowers in the surrounds.

Hannah will also give you tips on how to create unique designs using texturing techniques, coloured paint, and glazes before you learn how to prepare your piece for firing.

Ceramic flowers will last you a lifetime, so if you're looking for birthday gift ideas for a loved one, you can't pass up this experience.

Get in touch with your creative side and unwind in this relaxing ceramic workshop; it's one of the best things to do in Perth!
