Come up to Yerrabingin Native Rooftop Farm, learn about the culture of Kombucha, microbes, the fermentation process, how to start up your own SCOBY home.

Students will leave with a bottle of Kombucha that will ferment, carbonate over a few days after the class; and also a scoby/mother (kombucha starter) to get a colony of microbes thriving at home so you can love your gut and feed the microbiomes of you and your friends.

No prior understanding of the topic is required

What you'll get

To start a culture, take it home in a jar, along with a bottle of kombucha mixed by the class.

Very knowledgeable teacher and a fun venue! You learn an incredible amount in only one hour and take home your own bottle of kombucha and a little mother (scoby!). I loved it and would totally recommend you anyone interested in learning more about making your own brew

Set in a quirky Ansett themed warehouse, host Chris was equally quirky and very enthusiastic about kombucha.
Instructions were fairly unstructured but that was part of the charm. Took a mother and fermenting bottle home. 5 stars

Great class - a really personable teacher, who went through the making of Kombucha in a fun and easy to understand way and some great Kombucha made! Highly recommend.

Pretty cool set up in terms of being in the Trolley’d garage space but I think a sign out the front would be great we had a little difficulty finding the place. The course was great and super informative and our group really enjoyed it. Definitely would recommend for friends or date!
