Learn about the culture of Kombucha, microbes, the fermentation process, how to start up your own SCOBY home.

Students will leave with a bottle of Kombucha that will ferment, carbonate over a few days after the class; and also a scoby/mother (kombucha starter) to get a colony of microbes thriving at home so you can love your gut and feed the microbiomes of you and your friends.

What you'll get
To start a culture, take it home in a jar, along with a bottle of kombucha mixed by the class.
What to bring
All the equipment will be supplied.

Chris was super knowledgeable about all things Kombucha! To say we learned a lot is an understatement!

It was fun and informative which is a novel thing these days, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

The format took us a little by surprise so my only feedback for an even better experience would be to advise what to expect in advance :)

Would highly recommend even if you are just curious about the process

A great concept, but feel the pace was to fast, for quite a complicated process to the Novice, or myself that had no idea how Kombucha is made. I suggest to any-one doing the class, to read up and be a little savvy about it before going
I came away confused about some of the steps and had to refer to
U Tube, which I should have done before going to the class.

Liked the teacher. The venue was great. Rooftop garden was beautiful. The class was great. Chris was very knowledgeable and taught us well. We went home with our own Scoby and kombucha. I really recommend this class!

We Had a great time at this workshop! The instructor was great and really informative about the kombucha making process. We were so excited to take our scobys home and care for them! The kombucha we made in the workshop (which we left to carbonate for a week after the class) was SO DELICIOUS! So excited to keep making my own now that I have all the tricks of the trade!

Set in a quirky Ansett themed warehouse, host Chris was equally quirky and very enthusiastic about kombucha.
Instructions were fairly unstructured but that was part of the charm. Took a mother and fermenting bottle home. 5 stars

Pretty cool set up in terms of being in the Trolley’d garage space but I think a sign out the front would be great we had a little difficulty finding the place. The course was great and super informative and our group really enjoyed it. Definitely would recommend for friends or date!
