Chris Thomas is a master mixologist known for his talent in creating delicious concoctions. He began his career at The Basement Sydney, refining his craft before moving on to consult for Soho House London. Eventually, he returned to Sydney, where he became fascinated with the unique flavors of native Australian ingredients and Ansett airline trolleys.
At Tippled, Thomas has a simple philosophy: use what's around you, when it's around you. He sources his ingredients locally and forages for them at their peak, emphasizing seasonality to produce cocktails that are both elegant and uncomplicated. By doing so, he creates drinks that are in harmony with the environment, encouraging us to appreciate the natural world around us.
In addition to his skill in mixology, Thomas's interest in history also gives him a unique perspective on the uses of alcohol. He enjoys exploring the humorous side of alcohol's role in history, and his knowledge adds an entertaining element to his creations.
