What you'll do
Learn the fundamentals of photography for beginners with this exciting, hands-on class in Sydney!
Beginning at our Milson's Point station meeting point, your experienced teacher will show you how to capture the sights of the harbour and the world around you in unique and interesting ways.
This class will offer you:
- One-hour covering the theory of photography (types of cameras and lenses, manual mode, exposure, shutter speed, ISO, aperture, and much more).
- One-hour of hands-on exercises so you can actually practice what you have just learned (exercises will be sent to your email and then will be corrected).
- Material to take home and keep improving yourself.
- Post-production (free apps you can use on your phone, use of filters, lightroom, etc.).
Even if you don't have a camera, you can use any smartphone for this class and instantly improve your photography skills! If you're looking for fun Sydney activities, then photography is a great lifelong skill to master.
Knowledge required
Absolute beginners welcome. No experience is required.
What to bring
Camera with manual mode or your smartphone (if using your smartphone, you just need to download a paid app called MANUAL, or a free one called YAMERA).
