Join Dan for a fun and musically-inspired experience, where you'll learn some easy songs to play on the ukulele and plenty more to get you started playing (and singing) your first song! Bring your own picnic setup and play outside, or arrange a special class indoors. Bring a friend - the more the merrier - and cheaper!

Your teacher Dan Allen, will cover chords, strumming, fingerpicking, scales, soloing and improvising - all personalised to your own unique playing style.

About your teacher:
Your teacher has been a professional musician since about the age of 12 and has taught music at university, as well as lately more 'one-on-one' and casual private group lessons. Dan loves that the ukulele is so easy to learn to play and have a good time with - it's heaps of fun!


Knowledge required
All absolute beginners are welcome! We bring enough ukuleles for everyone, in all different sizes, so you can find the perfect match for you to play.
 
What you'll get
A free 'homework' book is included, so you can take everything you will learn home with you to practice (equivalent to about two to three months of weekly lessons). You'll also get to try different sizes of Ukes (from tiny Soprano to the huge Baritone, incl. Concert and Tenor ones) to see which one you like the best.
 
What to bring
Just your sense of adventure and willingness to have fun learning to play the ukulele and sing along! If you do have long fingernails, it may be best to trim them a bit before class for ease of playing.

If doing a picnic style class, BYO picnic supplies!
Suitable for

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 8 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.
