What you'll do
Take a delicate approach to jewellery and make some fabulous handmade dainty designs which can be worn layered or as a single elegant statement.
You won't believe how easy it is to make these simple bracelet and necklace designs. They make great arm candy, lightweight jewels and gifts.
Simply link delicate brass chain and charms and string small Czech glass seed beads and crystals to make your creations. You are the designer.
What You will Make:
- A delicate chain bracelet
- A delicate chain pendant
- One beaded necklace
- One beaded bracelet
- Make and finish the pieces in the choice of your colour combinations. You are the designer!
What You will Learn:
- Learn to make and create unique jewellery which will impress you as well as your friends
- Learn the two most commonly used techniques in costume jewellery making i.e. stringing beads and linking chain and charms
- Loads of finishing touches and professional tips
- Learn to string beads on wire and finish off with a clasp
- Learn how to link charms and chain. Linking is a technique used to make earrings, necklaces, bracelets and chokers

I am a local inner west, Sydney jewellery designer, passionate educator, community-spirited and sustainable style advocate. My workshops celebrate the maker culture, creativity and the joy and craftsmanship of handmade.
Fueled with a passion for women to exude their notable and authentic style, my goal is to encourage all my students to awaken their creative soul and seek beauty, slow, artisan and local.
With over 20 years teaching experience from TAFE, corporate and community groups I am dedicated creating a teaching environment where participants can share ideas, be inspired and let their imaginations run wild.
Workshops are held in a friendly and intimate studio space in the former Summer Hill Flour Mill precinct. Alternatively, we can travel to your venue. (home, Airbnb or hotel for group bookings only)
