You will learn how to create your own lanterns using a variety of materials, such as pressed flowers, lace, ribbons, and leaves. With the guidance of this workshop, you will be able to make truly unique and enchanting pieces to take home.
No prior experience is needed for this workshop, making it perfect for beginners. The welcoming atmosphere and step-by-step instructions will ensure that you feel at ease exploring your creativity.
By the end of the workshop, you will leave with your beautiful lanterns that you have personally designed and made. This hands-on activity will allow you to infuse your own style and creativity into functional pieces of art. Hi I'm Deb, Owner, Designer and Maker from Stalia Design.
Coming from a long family history of creativity it's no surprise I started working for a sewing machine company at age 20, then at 24 I opened my own sewing shop.
A few years later I thought I would give the corporate world a try and got stuck there for almost 20 years (all the while making clothes and costumes for my children) until a chronic illness diagnosis rescued me!
Completing my Cert IV in Design and a Diploma in Surface Design rekindled my creative spark and I now offer you the opportunity to create beautiful, mindful pieces. With a focus on sustainability and repurposing reclaimed textiles.
Workshops are run in our private space in Jannali and I also run private in-person workshops for hen's and bridal shower, birthday parties and team building.
I look forward to helping you create your very own masterpiece.
