Art Classes Sydney
Fun things to do in Sydney this weekend
Searching for new things to do in Sydney that will help you break the rut? We’ve compiled lists of the best art classes in Sydney so that you can easily find something that piques your interest and invites you to try something new. With our range of art workshops, you’ll learn from the best teachers in Sydney, no matter the medium. You’ll love the passion and excitement that these teachers bring to their creative workshops that are quickly becoming part of everyone’s top 10 things to do in Sydney. Art courses are some of the more unique experiences Sydney locals and tourists can both enjoy.
Regardless of whether you’re an art expert or a total beginner, you’ll be able to find everything from drawing classes to paint and sip in Sydney that are perfect for you. Try a fluid art class to get loose and create one-of-a-kind pieces or learn the fundamentals of shooting in manual mode with photography courses in Sydney. There are art classes for kids, or you might opt for adult-only experiences like a drink and paint class.
If typography is more your style, you can even try calligraphy classes. All of our art courses are welcoming for different levels of experience and previous training, which means you can try your hand at a variety of new styles - from basic drawing to painting courses to still life drawing - and always have a great time. Everything art class is also designed with beginners in mind, so even if you think you don't have a creative bone in your body, these Sydney workshops are here to prove you wrong!
Rejuvenating art workshops and local experiences
One of the things that makes these workshops some of the best things to do in Sydney with kids and people without much experience with art is that they are so accessible for everyone. We have students who have been to art school and others who have never even picked up a paintbrush, and everyone has a wonderful experience. Some of the most popular Sydney workshops for beginners include our fun sip and paint classes and our basic drawing, photography, or painting classes.
Not only are these art courses great for individuals looking to explore their creative interests, but they’re also some of the best things to do in Sydney in groups. Whether you’re looking for kids activities Sydney families can do together, or you’re planning a fun bridal shower or birthday party, you’ll find art classes that your group will love. Art workshops also make great team bonding activities to improve workplace wellbeing, making them a great option for corporate wellness programs. With so many painting classes for kids, you won’t have to worry about school holiday activities in Sydney either.
Our art workshops in Sydney are inviting, casual, and informative. Your experienced teacher will guide you through all the basics of your chosen medium, in an enjoyable and accessible way for everyone. In painting classes, you may talk about colour composition while a still life drawing class may cover things like balance and shading, but all of the classes will be equally fun and allow you to tap into your creativity.
Art is great for your wellbeing
Did you know art is a mood-boosting activity that provides plenty of benefits? That's right, you’ll love the sense of calm and tranquillity that you can tap into when you pick up a pencil or a paintbrush, and there’s also the satisfaction of watching your progress and sharing your art with your loved ones! The creativity that you start to build in art courses will carry over to other parts of your life, and you’ll love the positive effect art has on your overall wellbeing.
Practising art, no matter the medium, can help relieve stress, enhance problem-solving skills and boost self-esteem as you feel a sense of accomplishment with your work. Plus, by attending art lessons it provides you with an opportunity to connect and socialise with others in your local community, which in turn improves your mood! So, if you've been on the hunt for "adult art classes near me", pick from one of our rejuvenating Sydney workshops and book in today.
Custom classes
Want to learn or experience something specific? You can easily contact our teachers and arrange a custom workshop at your preferred time and to suit your skill level.
If you’re looking for a unique and memorable event these workshops are perfect things to do with friends on the weekend, for aged care groups, team building exercises, indoor things to do, and kids weekend activities. We've got a range of teachers who cater specifically to larger events, and we can customise classes to meet your needs. Get in touch today and we'll put something together for you.
