Looking for fun pottery classes in Brisbane? This clay and sip class is the perfect way to enjoy a night of sculpting, pinch potting and sipping with instructor Jenna!

You will take home two to four small pieces, nice and easy to carry home.

During this beginner-friendly workshop and art class, you’ll learn basic skills like hatching, sticking together and shaping forms and will sculpt using air-drying clay. You will follow along with an artist instructing a demo at the front and receive one-on-one guidance and assistance as needed.

But it’s also all about having fun, so if you want to do your own things and just embrace the experience of something new, you can do that too!

We will be working with air drying clay which means you can take it home and let it dry and after around 24 to 48 hours you can paint your creations yourself later however you feel with watercolours, acrylics or poster paints.

You could even paint resin over it to make it waterproof! This is a great idea for friends, hens parties, work parties, team building activities, birthdays or just to experience something new!

You will be able to craft something beautiful to take home and display proudly and enjoy a few glasses of your favourite beverage too!

My friend and I had a great time getting creative with the clay! As we left, we agreed we'd definitely be back soon. The card stickers provided at the end were so adorable and such a lovely touch. Thanks for holding a great workshop!

We had a really fun night! All the materials are provided, including a little box to take your pottery home in, and Jenna was super friendly, lovely and helpful. You get guidance on technique but freedom to essentially make what you want (including mildly disturbing frog figurines). Hot tip: don't immediately drink the water on the table that's meant for the clay and then use the cup for aloe vera juice. Not that I know anyone dumb enough to do this, of course.
Anyway, 10/10 would recommend for a cute date or friend and family activity!

Good fun. Very little instruction, I know we arrived late, but no actual skills were explained or taught at all. Your table is given a laminated sheet, and go for gold. Bit more guidance would be nice.

Jenna was a brilliant host and instructor - as a beginner to pottery all I knew was there would be clay involved.
She took us through the steps on how to make a vase and then helped us individually with our own pieces.

The class was great value for money! I will 100% be recommending this to other people (I’d do it again myself but, as it turns out, I am TERRIBLE at pottery)
