Looking for deliciously easy recipes at home to master? Learn how to make authentic tiramisu with expert chefs in the comfort of your own home!

In this live online class, you will join our chef online via Zoom as he demonstrates the process of making delicious and authentic tiramisu. Students are encouraged to switch on their cameras to follow along with the chef and ask questions throughout the class.

All the ingredients will be provided in your box, which can be collected from our restaurants (\Point Cook, Elsternwick or South Yarra) or delivered directly to your door. Delivery will occur the Friday before the class and boxes must be refrigerated.

Each box makes four servings, so at the end of the class, you and your partner, family or housemates, can devour this tasty dessert and recreate more with all the new skills you've learned. You can even add a prosecco to your box for a bubbly cooking class!

Please note:

  • Delivery is Melbourne Metro only.
  • Classes are vegetarian but not dairy-free.
  • Coffee can be substituted with chocolate milk for a kid-friendly option.

Ingredients box collection details:
Thursday or Friday evening prior to the class.
  • Elsternwick - 15 Gordon St between 5 pm and 9 pm
  • South Yarra - 373 Malvern Rd between 5 pm and 9 pm

You will be prompted to select your ingredients box pick-up location when booking.
What you'll need
  • 75g caster sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 bowls (1 large, 1 medium)
  • Electric whisk
  • Spatula (or spoon)

  • Make 300ml of coffee using the coffee included in your ingredients box the night before.

  • Please measure out your ingredients according to the recipe prior to the class.
  • Join us on Zoom five minutes early.
Suitable for

This Box and Live class is great for virtual team building activities at home. Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 4 years old). An adult must be present whilst kid(s) engage with the box.

48H Pizza & Gnocchi Bar opened their first restaurant in South Yarra in 2015 and quickly became a local favourite. Owners Fabio Biscaldi and Michele Circhirillo have been serving seasonal and artisanal small plates, handmade gnocchi and pizzas inspired by dishes that they grew up with.

For us, 48 hours is the minimum time required for the dough to rise. A dough that has been leavened for 48H with natural yeast will make your pizza light, fragrant and aromatic… just like in Italy. Natural yeast has been used for generations in Italy. In fact, back in the day, only one person in the village would have natural yeast and they would use it to barter goods with. Bread was made once a week, and in some villages, just once a month, so natural yeast had to be bartered or families would go without their bread…. a sacrilegious thought to any food-respecting Italian!

At 48H, we want to respect and maintain these traditions and introduce you to true Italian flavours, remastered for today’s refined palates.

The staff enjoyed the interaction and the fact that they could ask as many questions as they liked. It was a good class, straight forward yet fun. Appreciated the chef's tips along the way. The hardest part was waiting for the Tiramisu to set LOL. Was worth it though as it tasted delish Thanks again for your organisation and to the Chef.
