From hand-building techniques like slab building, pinched pots, and coils, to mastering the pottery wheel with skills like centering clay, opening out and pulling up, this course covers it all.
During the class, you will work with high-quality materials and tools. Experience the tactile sensation of manipulating clay as you shape it into beautiful forms. Whether it's the therapeutic process of hand-building or the exhilaration of throwing on the pottery wheel, you will find yourself fully immersed in the art of ceramics.
Suitable for beginners and intermediates, all students will receive guidance and support in a friendly environment. You'll be amazed at what you can create with your own two hands.

Pots & Bobs is located in Mount Colah and is a small home-based studio with work areas both outdoor and indoor.
I have been teaching ceramics on the Central Coast for several years and recently decided to open up my space in Mount Colah to give our local community an opportunity to explore their creativity in an informal and relaxed setting.
​There are several guided workshops and short classes available on most days. You are also welcome to come with your own project and together we will work to achieve the best possible creative outcome.
