What you'll do
Develop your baking skills in this series of six consecutive interactive classes. In Brisbanes smallest baking class (max 4 people) you will learn the essentials of baking in a fun informal way with a passionate home baker and make new baking friends along the way.
Sessions will cover the basics of how to produce beautiful bakes in your home kitchen. From simple cakes, high tea treats, pastry and yeasted doughs, you will get the lowdown on achieving these with a minimum of fuss.
Each session will leave you inspired to break out your whisk to make the recipes for your family and friends. Plus, you’ll take home a selection of the treats we’ve baked together!
Due to an insurance restrictions, all participants must be over 18 years of age.
Please Note:
- This class does not cater for allergies or gluten intolerances.
- Suitable for adult learners only.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time to ensure you receive the full allotted time.

My love of baking was formed at a very young age and some of my fondest memories as a child are when I was helping my Mother and Grandmother in the kitchen. Whilst I love all forms of cooking, baking is my favourite. I love to try new recipes and techniques and have developed some of my own recipes.
My decorating skills were not always as they are now but I always strived to improve. It was by accident, after a friend gifted me a decorating class almost 10 years ago, that I fell in love with cake decorating. Since then, I have sought out opportunities to improve my skills and have attended decorating classes with internationally renowned decorators.
