What you'll do
Looking for fun things to do in Perth with kids or creative school holiday activities? Join The Baking Edge in a fun cupcake decorating class at Peppermint Cafe in Joondalup!
In this hands-on class, you will make your own cupcake toppers and have access to all modelling tools and equipment, edible paint and more to help you create your mini masterpieces of sweet art.
No matter your background or skill set, baking expert Kelly Robertson-Kay is here to help and provide step-by-step instructions so you can take your creations home to enjoy.
If you wish to stay and watch your child create, sit back, order a coffee and relax (the café is open to purchase drinks and snacks). Or feel free to drop your kids and go if you prefer. Your children are in safe hands.
Adults are also welcome to book a ticket to participate if you wish to have your own set of cupcakes to decorate. Join us in Candy Land!
At the end of the class, your kids will be able to take home four delicious cupcakes and some new fond memories of the day!
Please note: If children aged six years and younger attend, then adult assistance and supervision is required (no ticket required for assisting your child).

Hi, I’m Kelly, owner of The Baking Edge. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children, living in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. I have been creating delicious themed cakes and cupcakes for many different occasions, events and functions for many years.
