If you're looking to progress your wheel throwing skills and challenge yourself, look no further than our wheel throwing class in Sydney. This workshop is perfect for anyone ready to delve deeper into the art of ceramics and learn the intricacies of wheel throwing.

Don't worry if you're a beginner, we can adapt this class to suit your skill level if you are unable to make the Tuesday evening course or if it is fully booked. Our experienced instructors will guide you through every step of the process, helping you feel comfortable and confident in your abilities.

During this class, you'll learn how to centre larger amounts of clay, trim your pieces, add handles, and create interesting shapes. We'll also cover a variety of clay types, glazing techniques, and provide insights into the firing processes and using an electric kiln.

Hosted at our studio, this small class size allows for personalised attention, with a maximum of six participants. The class fee includes all the necessary materials, including clay and glazes. And to top it off, we cover the cost of firing up to 10 of your own unique ceramic pieces.

By the end of the workshop, you'll not only have expanded your wheel throwing skills but also have a collection of beautiful ceramics to take home.

I am Karina and I am a ceramic artist, business owner and teacher based in Crows Nest on the upper north shore in Sydney. My passion for ceramics started out as a hobby in 2016 and over the last two years has really grown into a small business with a focus on handmade small batch ceramics and tailor-made events for clay lovers and learners.

I have a passion for teaching and making. I'm a very social person and I love meeting new people, teaching others how to create ceramics and explore clay, hosting events and collaborating with other businesses in fun and creative ways.

I hope that I can teach you to make something beautiful.
