What you'll do
Are you looking for a new hobby? Clay is a tremendous mindful practice, that allows you to destress while getting creative. In this class, you'll learn the art of hand-building with clay, and create two vessels of your own choosing and design.
You'll be guided through the process by our experienced ceramics teacher.
You don't need any experience. We supply the clay and tools and an experienced instructor will teach you various techniques to build and decorate your pieces. You can choose your glaze colour too.
We use stoneware clay and fire to high temperatures so your final pieces will be safe to eat from and also safe in the microwave, oven and dishwasher.
Your pieces will be taken away to be fired and we'll be in contact when they are ready to be picked up.
Please note:
Public dates for this class require at least 8 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class;
in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

Your ticket price includes:- Two kilograms of clay
- Full instruction and assistance throughout the class
- Access and use of all professional tools to create and decorate your pieces.
- Firing and clear glazing of two pieces at our Sydney-based clay studio (or you can fire it elsewhere).

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

In line with Government restrictions, we ask that only those guests who are double-vaccinated attend our in-person events or please demonstrate medical exemption. We ask that everyone check-in using our QR code and present this at the start of every session. We have a sanitiser and a hand-washing sink on site available for use. We will avoid the sharing of utensils where possible and always sanitise all utensils and surfaces after use.
