Tarot Reading Class for Beginners

Intuitive Tarot is for anyone who wants to learn how to do a basic tarot reading without any prior knowledge of the cards, or those who do have some experience with the cards but want to loosen up their approach to the tarot. Here, the emphasis is on relying on intuition rather than ‘book knowledge’.

In two hours we will go through the Major Arcana (22 tarot cards), using exercises to get an instant feel for their meanings. By the end of the class, you will do a simple three-card spread using the skills you have learned. From there, anything is possible!

Feel free to bring your own tarot deck if you have one, or if you wish to purchase a deck before-hand Sarah suggests going to Kinokuniya where there is a large tarot deck selection. No worries if you don’t have a deck on the night

Please note: This class requires at least 5 students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email, so please watch your email a few days prior to the class

Sarah The Psychic

Sarah has been working as a full-time professional psychic tarot reader since 2003, currently working from her private tarot office in King St Newtown.

She has a unique, non-sectarian tarot reading style that is calm and grounding, while also accurate, inspiring and fun. Working with the tarot is a career that helps her to understand the complexities of humanity, and she very much enjoys the huge cross-section of society that she has the good fortune to meet. Sarah loves bringing tarot into the community in creative ways, most notably for her flowery glittery divination bike that has tarot cards in the wheels!

Community values lie at the heart of our project. We collaborate with local artists and industry experts to teach classes and utilise local suppliers for any materials needed. We also provide a creative environment for emerging artists to produce and sell work, and meet like minded individuals. Work-Shop will be a space for everyone, with a rotating schedule of art shows, information nights on local issues and a whole range of events and community initiatives.
