Fun Craft classes in Brisbane
Love crafting? Join us for one of our Brisbane craft classes and get creative this weekend! Make your own planter at a pottery workshop, create custom kids toys at a crochet class or master the art of macrame under the guidance of our experienced teachers. Whether you're looking for fun team building activities, treat a loved one to a unique experience or find something fun and quirky to do for your 30th birthday party, our beginner-friendly craft workshops are perfect for any occasion. Take their weekend to the next level and learn something new as you hang out with like-minded locals in a fun and friendly environment.
If you feel as though you have seen all of the Brisbane attractions and are looking for new unique things to do in Brisbane, why not try some of our fun craft classes in Brisbane. Our mission is to make art and craft classes accessible to everyone. We want to empower craft teachers all over Australia to teach their own workshops and inspire you to experiment with craft ideas and start making with your own hands. Our craft workshops are a great option if you’re looking for things to do with kids in Brisbane or just fun things to do in Brisbane on the weekend.
Learn how to use a pottery wheel at a fun pottery class, experiment with new sewing projects at an embroidery workshop, learn how to macrame at a macrame class in Brisbane or try and make your own jewellery at a jewellery making course. You can take a terrarium class and learn how to build your own terrarium, try your hand at folding Japanese origami at an adults origami class, or even learn the Japanese art of flower arranging at an Ikebana workshop or a short floristry class. No matter what you’re looking to try – whether it’s crafts for kids, craft ideas for adults, or you want to make your own Christmas crafts – you will find something to suit everyone.
Perfect for beginners
The best thing about our craft workshops in Brisbane is that they are easy crafts for beginners. You don’t need any experience making your own diy crafts to have a great time at one of our craft courses. You might just discover a new hobby that you love! From DIY woodworking classes to fun textiles courses, our craft classes are taught by local Brisbane artisans and makers and are generally run in groups. This makes the craft classes a fun and social activity, and perfect for special occasions or fun corporate team building activities. They are also a great option if you’re looking for affordable and fun kids activities in Brisbane or school holiday activities for kids in Brisbane. The best gifts are experience gifts. Our gift cards mean that you can give the experience of making to a loved one or even do a class together. You’ll have a great time creating together and at the end of the workshop you’ll both have a beautiful handmade gift to take home with you. For the majority of classes, all of the craft supplies will be provided and all you need to bring is yourself, some creative craft ideas and a willingness to have fun!
Health benefits of craft
Craft can be an excellent way to find reprieve from the stresses and pressures of everyday life. Working with our hands when practising crafts like weaving, ceramics and embroidery allow us to enter a flow state which is also known as practising mindfulness. When crafting you become immersed in the act of doing and making, and with this comes relief from stress, increased brain productivity, and even a distraction from physical pain and anxieties. There’s also that added self-confidence boost you get whenever you complete a beautiful work of craft!
Custom classes
Want to learn or experience something specific? You can easily contact our teachers and arrange a custom workshop at your preferred time and to suit your skill level. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable event these workshops are perfect things to do with friends on the weekend, for aged care groups, team building exercises, indoor things to do, and kids weekend activities.
