Our teacher was patient, funny and very experienced. We had a group of 12 which was ideal. 4 at a time behind the bar, making your choice of cocktail, complete with flairing tips and a lot of laughs were had. Followed by tapas, pizza and dessert. Food was really good too. I'd highly recommend Lil Darling for this cocktail making session. + more

This terrarium workshop is perfect to get away from our corporate desks, even if it's for a few minutes. We will be getting Wak Wak Studios again in future :) + more

Irina was so patient and attentive, guiding us through each step with clear instructions while giving us plenty of time to chat, socialise and get creative. She created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere that made the whole experience feel really special. The unexpected stars of the day were her two beautiful cats, who kept us company throughout the workshop! Such a lovely addition to an already wonderful experience. Highly recommend for a client outing, team activity or a fun afternoon with friends. Thank you, Irina! + more

Our workshops are designed to be easy, fun and beginner-friendly, so no one feels out of place. Here are some popular Christmas activities for adults in 2026:
- Clay ornament making – Craft your own Christmas tree decorations out of clay and keep them as keepsakes.
- Cocktail making – Shake, stir and sip your way through a festive mixology class. Learn how to make Christmas cocktails like mulled wine spritzers or spiced margaritas.
- Christmas wreath making – A timeless favourite! Decorate your door with a handmade wreath filled with festive greenery.
- Candle making – Create beautiful scented soy candles that double as thoughtful handmade gifts.

Work Christmas party ideas for the office
Office Christmas parties don’t need to be complicated—or dull! Instead of worrying about venues or menus, choose a workshop that brings your team together in a relaxed, creative way. From pottery and cooking classes in Brisbane to paint and sip or flower arranging in Perth, there’s something for every workplace vibe.
One of the best parts? Choose a mobile workshop and the experience comes to you! Think pottery wheels set up in your office, a cocktail-making station in your staffroom, or a calligraphy workshop in your boardroom. It’s the ultimate stress-free option, with all the materials, equipment and guidance taken care of.
If your team is spread across Australia, consider a virtual office Christmas party. Online classes come with craft or food kits delivered to every participant, so you can log on together, enjoy the activity and still feel connected, even from different states.
These interactive office team activities aren’t just fun, they’re also a wonderful way to thank your staff, celebrate the year’s achievements and finish 2026 on a positive note.
Unique things to do for a Christmas party in 2026
Looking for something different this year? Skip the same old routine and embrace festive experiences that feel fresh and meaningful. Some unique Christmas party ideas include:
- Christmas baking classes – Learn to make gingerbread houses, festive cookies or traditional holiday desserts with your group.
- Make meaningful handmade gifts – From jewellery making to screen printing, craft one-of-a-kind presents for your loved ones.
- Paint watercolour Christmas cards – Paint your own personalised cards, perfect for sending thoughtful wishes to friends and colleagues.
- Christmas ornament making – Try wood carving, resin pouring or clay modelling to create decorations that will last for years.
These kinds of creative experiences let you add a personal touch to the holiday season. Whether you’re baking together in person in Adelaide, Sydney, Perth or beyond, or joining an online craft class, you’ll walk away with something tangible, handmade and full of festive spirit.
How to throw a fun adult Christmas party
Want to make this year’s celebration unforgettable? Here are a few simple tips for hosting a successful Christmas party:
- Pick a theme and decorate – From winter wonderland to Aussie summer vibes, decorations set the tone.
- Plan food and drinks – Mix up Christmas cocktails or organise a cooking class where the food becomes part of the fun.
- Add an activity or craft – Choose a fun Christmas craft activity to break the ice and make memories. Options like paint and sip, candle making or wreath workshops keep guests engaged and entertained.
- Set the soundtrack – Create a playlist of Christmas tunes to keep the mood merry.
- Give out party favours – Handmade items from your chosen class (candles, ornaments, wreaths) double as take-home gifts.
By blending creativity, connection and festive cheer, you’ll throw an adult Christmas party that people will talk about long after the decorations are packed away.
