What you'll do
Looking for new things to do in Sydney? Learn how to create your own DIY earrings using polymer clay and unwind with this relaxing craft.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, your teacher Anna will take you through all the skills needed to make yourself some beautiful earrings.
You will get a rundown of all the tools used, learn how to mix and condition the clay and learn a variety of techniques so that you can design and create a range of earrings. Some of these techniques include marbling, silk screening, texturing, slab making, sanding and many more.
This class offers a fun and relaxed environment. Bring a friend or two, or come solo and make some new ones!
You will walk away with a selection of earrings, class notes on everything you have learnt, and the skills to make more in the future.
Please note: This class requires at least five students to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class, fully refund you and inform you via email, so please keep a watch for any emails a few days prior to the class.

Your teacher
I am a lover of all things colourful, kind and happy. I love to make things with my hands, actually, I need to make things with my hands, otherwise, there’s a huge hole in my life. Whether it's jewellery, painting, craft with the kids or furniture DIY, I love it all. It's all a meditative process for me which helps my mind reset and my heart smile.
My background is in fine arts and commercial photography but after a back injury, I had to put the camera down. Not long afterwards I became a mum and this is where I found myself tinkering with making earrings. So, I started making them for me and my mates and a few years down the track here I am.
I love using different mediums in my pieces, and the list of these continues to grow. At the moment I am loving using polymer clay, fabric, resin and also my husband’s craft beer labels.
Just as my aim with my earrings is to bring happiness to my customers, I aim to do the same with my workshop attendees.
