What you'll do

Are you obsessed with Terrazzo? Maybe you've always wanted to make your own? This is the perfect workshop for you, we'll teach you how to create your own custom terrazzo homewares.
In this House of Hobby workshop, our expert Gemma will teach you all about the art of casting using Jesmonite, an eco-friendly material that sets to form a lightweight and durable material. You will be guided through the entire process in this hands-on class to design and make your very own set of homewares. You'll get enough supplies to make at least two matching items. Choosing from a variety of moulds including coasters, trinket trays and candle holders. We will have a range of pigments for you to customise your terrazzo colours to suit your style.
This workshop is perfect for beginners who are looking to try their hand at DIY Terrazzo and Jesmonite.

What to bring

This hobby is wonderfully messy! So be sure to wear some old clothes and covered shoes. If you have an old apron, feel free to bring it along with you. We will have some in case you need one on the day.
