The best dumplings are made up of thin dough shell that encases an ambrosial mixture of seasoned meat and chopped veggies. You’ll unlock the secrets behind making traditional Chinese dumplings. Mastering the perfect folds and gaining all the necessary techniques and tips before grabbing a pair of chopsticks and feasting on your creations. The perfect way to start lunch!

Knowledge Required

Perfect for beginners. We recommend this program for children 10 years old or older.

What to bring

- You are welcome to BYO your own wine and beer. However for safety, please focus on cooking and you can drink with the meal later. 
- We recommend for you to measure and put all the ingredients on a dish/tray to be ready to cook.
- We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. It’s a great idea to tie your hair back if it’s long too. 

Suitable for

This Live streaming class is a great indoor activity idea for individuals and couples as well as for virtual team building activities at home.

This is a fun indoor activity, suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.

This would also be a great Xmas gift idea.

Chef Hà Nguyen began his career in Hanoi local restaurants and the Hilton Opera Hotel before travel, study and work in Wellington, New Zealand –New Zealand Diploma in Cookery and Bachelor in Hospitality Management at Wellington Institute of Technology. Chef Hà has started with Intercontinental Hotel Wellington, working with Twelve Apostles Lodge Walk developing menu for Alkina Lodge along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, delivering nourishing and fresh menus to clients.

He believes that cooking, eating and sharing should be an experience, not just a meal. He created OTAO Kitchen as an extension of his passion for food and to share this passion with others. Food plays an important role in his Vietnamese culture heritage and is central to his family life. Sharing a meal with family and loved ones is a traditional and happy experience. This class was great! Being the first of hopefully many, this was also my first time taking a class via zoom and overall cooking class.
