What you'll do
Do you have kids who are keen to learn how to cook? In this three-hour Italian cooking workshop in Parramatta, kids will make bruschetta, handmade pasta, and bomboloni (Italian donuts).
A talented and friendly instructor will teach kids how to make these items from scratch, and at the end of class they will bring home a box of goodies.
Please Note:
- Vegetarian and Halal requirements can be accommodated. Simply let us know on booking.
- All ingredients, equipment and aprons are supplied.
- Follow the signage to our workshop spac.e
- We suggest that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshop to get settled.
- All of our team have current verified Working with Children Checks.
- Parents are welcome to stay outside in the courtyard. There are cafes in the street and Westfield is a 10 minute walk.
- Parking in Parramatta can be challenging. Please allow time to walk to the venue from street parking, or the venue is located 7 minutes walk from Harris Park and Parramatta stations.
Knowledge required
This is a 10-15 year old class.
What you'll get
Attendees will make all 3 recipes and bring home a box of their creations. (If they don't sample them first.)
What to bring
Closed-toe shoes and hair tied back.
Suitable for
Suitable for kids from 10 to 15 years old. Adult accompaniment is not required.
Your teacher
Kids love to mix, measure, stir and whisk. They love to roll, knead and chop.
Beth and the Kids Love to Cook team have been teaching kids to cook across Sydney since 2014.
We've taught at schools, incursions, small workshops and cooked with thousands of kids in large community events.
