What you'll do
LS offers a 2-week Intensive General English Course for children to improve their overall English skills in a short time frame. The course will cover all fundamental English lessons across pronunciation, grammar, conversation, and listening. Classes are run at our convenient Sydney CBD location.
The course includes fun activities, games, and free training materials, and you’ll enjoy our small class sizes for a great interactive learning experience. Upon completion, your children will also receive a Certificate of Participation.
Who is this course for?
- Children who visit Sydney and need to improve their English in 2 weeks
- Children needing to improve conversational skills as fast as possible in a month's time
- Children from another country who may need to join a public school soon
- Children wanting to enhance their English as fast as possible in Australia
- Children needing a fun small English class with other kids from different countries
- Per request, the course can be extended to 4 weeks, even though you should only enroll in the 2-week course first
Program Details
Children will learn the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a very intensive 2-week course. Your children will be required to speak a lot and get involved in a wide variety of lessons, fun activities, and games. As there are only a small number of children in each class, from 4-8 students, they will have many opportunities to practise directly with the teachers what they have learned and become an "active" learner.
Students will be assessed across all 4 skills after 2 weeks and individually counseled on their progress.
Class size is an average of 4-8 students.
Students may go on a short educational excursion in the final week to practise their English.
Students will benefit from doing daily homework to consolidate their learning in class.
Students will learn a different skill each day with a different teacher.
Students will spend Friday morning practicing listening to English pronunciation in the office.
